I have been on birth control for over 2 years now, but it has always been the same one. I recently (this month) changed my pill to see if this new one would get rid of the few pimples I got with my old ones. I am on week 3 (the one before the placebos/sugar pills) I noticed on sunday that I started spot bleeding, it is a very light bleeding, and also has some mucus/ clots in it. I read that it could be caused by a hormonal imbalance, stress, but it could also be pregnancy or miscarriage.

My fiance and I have been fighting like crazy lately so we don't have sex very often, and these new pills have completely killed my sex drive (thinking of coming off them after i get my period). I figured that I can't be pregnant because of the lack of sex. I ruled out a miscarriage as well.

Do you think that this is caused by changing pills/hormones and/or stress? When should I start worrying about the bleeding. It has been since sunday march 29.
