Hi
My son has been suffering from vomiting attacks for some time now. We have seen an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist to determine the problem. After many test ...MRI, audio testing , allergy , sinus xray, list goes on!!!
They could not find anything wrong. After looking on the internet I found information on Migranes..And all the symtems seem to relate to my son.
And in the middle of all this we have moved to the Middle East from Australia ,I am worried about medical care here. Does anyone have and medical suggestions on this problem.
thank you
Michelle

No one should be suggesting any medical treatment for your son online. What you need to do is find a doctor who specializes in migraines or a neurologist who could help your son with the treatment. You should no that there is no singe treating method. It is usually a combination of different thing like dietary changes, stress reduction, hormone replacement therapy, enough sleep and possible some medications.

Does anybody in your family suffer from migraines as well? They tend to run in the families.
What you and your son should do is make a diary and write down things like what triggered the headache, vomiting, nausea, stomachache or other symptoms your son may be going through. Because usually, there are triggers. These could be certain foods, medications, stress, food additives, loud noise, etc. you should write down everything and present it to your son’s doctor. Foods that most commonly trigger the symptoms are chocolate, pizza, cheese, alcohol, nuts, caffeine, etc. what he could safely consume is fruit juices (natural), low fat or skim milk, non-cola sodas, crackers, hot and cold cereals, whole wheat breads, etc

If his attacks last for more than 12 hours or are very common, he may be prescribed a medication.
