Was given kenelog 40 shot one time 33cc had an allergic reaction tightening in chest..2 days later pounding in ears..became sick for a month aswell potassium and vitamin d lowered aswell..suicidal thoughts..feeling of being high...how long does this ear pounding last...

Hi! Kenelog is a corticosteroid that is used in injection form when the oral form isn't appropriate. There are all sorts of side effects that can occur from having the kenelog injection, but the is no absolute indication how long it takes for the effects to disappear, however they should stop after the medication ceases. A month does seem like quite a long time, and the heart pounding will be due to you changes in potassium level and the effect that it has on your ECG. Why don't you go back and have your bloods re-checked as it' they're still off now they might need to do something else for you?
