My larynx (Adam's apple) shifts over to my right and gets stuck. When this happens it is extremely painful to swallow. If I do swallow it pops back to the center. I can also move it back with my hand and when I do it makes a pop sound. Happens about once a week. Anyone know what is wrong?

The larynx is part of the respiratory tract, so I hope this is the right place.

Hi, just wanted to chime in that this happens to me and I have a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. For me larynx/voicebox dislocation is the result of faulty collagen. Good luck!
