I am really disappointed in medicine. My father has been to a hospital for an eye surgery. He is 77 years old and he has been diagnosed with macular degeneration in his left eye, the wet type, and at the same time, he had a dry type in his right eye. Doctors said that the laser operation is the only therapy for a left eye. Unfortunately, Laser Caused Loss of Vision in that eye. What is he supposed to do now?

I am afraid that you cannot do much at this point. Loss of vision, unfortunately is a possibility that might occur during the laser operation. I suppose that you were warned about that outcome. Laser surgery is the most common treatment for this kind of conditions, and the only one for macular degeneration wet type.
