I've been taking levothyroxin 100mg for several years. I used to take synthroid 150mg and they both make me hyper and sleepless. I work out a lot and I need good sleep. I ma not sure If this is a side effect from the levothyroxin. I would like to hear what the other people experienced with levothyroxin. I am not sure if I have to tell this to my doctor.

I was switched from 75mg Synthroid to Levoxyl due to prescription coverage change. Doctor says these are the same thing but after being on this for 6 months am noticing weight gain that was not happening on the Synthroid. I sleep ok sine I am on Levoxyl. I don’t know what to think. I guess that all the people respond differently on drugs. I can’t say that I ma satisfied with any therapy. Anyway I think I want to go back on Synthroid.
