Hello, i am 17 years old and 9 days ago i had protected sex and i stopped him before he went. The first couple of days after i had light brown discharge and slight stomach cramps then it stopped and now it has started again 5 days later. I have a feeling that it is impossible for me to be pregnant but i just dont understand this brown discharge and light spotting, is it normal? i should get my period in 6 days or so. Am i pregnant?

The chances of getting pregnant are really small if you were using a protection, but that doesn't mean that it is impossible. There are a couple of reasons why you see this brown discharge after period or even before your period. Also, you said that your sex was protected, but you haven't told how? Are you using some contraceptive pills? If you do, that is the answer to your question why you are seeing this spotting. Every birth control pill can cause side -effects and the most common is spotting. And since you are really young, your body is trying to adapt to several changes.

No I don't believe you are pregnant if you used a codom and it didn't break or slipped off. you might have some kind of irregular period, i have PCOS and sometimes i don't get my period or an unusual period. I'd go talk to a doctor and if you aren't satisfied take a home pregnancy test between you're first missed period and three months in.
