I have had m.e for over 14 years and among a long list of symptoms are lightheadedness/dizziness, lack of concentration and 'brain fog'.

I understand exactly how you feel and have been experiencing this since June 2011. It is so discouraging not having any concrete answers. I too have been told anxiety, sinus infection, atypical migraine etc... I have had CT scans, ENT treated sinus infection and said it was cleared, been to rheumatologist to rule out CFS and Fibromyalgia. It is so frustrating. I am not confident driving anymore and am not confident to apply for new jobs despite wanting to leave my current position. I am currently looking at hair mineral analysis to consider copper imbalance. Sometimes I wonder if Im going crazy but I know Im not. Hope you get an answer soon.

Mike: Have you ever figured out what this is? I've had the same symptoms since I was 16 and will be 40.

I hope you get this. The exact same thing happened to me. Did you ever get it figured out? I wish more people would update everyone if they figure things out. I know when people get feeling better they don't feel the need to update a forum but they should remember how they did feel at their worst and know people are needing answers out there and could use some help. Thanks...

Hey Mike! I have the EXACT same symptoms you described. Do you also get tingling, numbness, and muscle twitches? Also, I have noticed some disturbing deja vu's and sometimes something spurs a memory and I can't recall if I dreamed it or where I am getting the memory from......weird!! I also have tinnitus....Curious if you have experienced these other things.

I too have had the spavey feeling, like a sense of disconnection. I'm currently seeing a therapist and psychiatrist for the issue since this feeling has been with me everyday for over a year now. I'm a 25 y/o male and am hoping working through my anxiety will help. I didn't think my anxiety was too bad, but being in therapy I have moments of crying where my entire head tingles. Hang in there everyone!

I used to have that feeling all the time. It's most likely that u are low on iron. Start taking iron pills, they definitely helped me. And drink water with a little salt in it. I still get a dizzy headache every now and then but it's made a huge difference

Anxiety can lead to less oxygen in general but also to your brain which can cause someone to become dizzy and light headed.

(29yo)I'm really glad I came across this thread. I've been labeled a hypochondriac by my spouse and one of my closet friends at work. I work at a hospital and talk to doctors all the time about this. They said it was an inner ear infection, but it wasn't. They said it was anxiety, but it wasn't. I thought it might be because I was pregnant but it couldn't be that.....because I'm a dude. I really appreciate all the updates as well and I am currently exploring getting my thyroid levels checked and anti anxiety meds/meditation. Acupuncture/chiropractor (not at the same time) if all else fails!

I had the off balance feeling for years, and finally discovered it was iron deficiency. Google it and see if you have the other symptoms.

I had the EXACT same thing for two month. My doctor put me on an anxiety medication and now the symptoms have subsided.
