Please check your ears. Fluid can cause this and make you feel dizzy and that weird feeling in head along with vomiting and feeling sick to stomach. Vertigo makes you feel real bad I was told it was migraines for 15yrs and was just in er and said vertigo and I asked her to look in my ears and yes i had lot of fluid behind ear drum which my ears never hurt just get the headache and pain behind rt eye and rt sided neck pain put that fluid is what was causing all this pain and dizzy feeling. So I am on claritan D any kind of antihistamine will do. I also have RA which can causes AIED which i believe is what is going on with me. So next time you are feeling this way go to your doctor and just ask them to check your ears you might just be suprised. It took 15 yrs to figure this out for me lol. when your equilibrium is off it can cause havoc through out the body. Good luck and Good health to you.

My latest possibility for these feelings is simple partial seizures. I have waves that last about 5 seconds, every 15 -30 minutes where my speech slurs, I get light headed, and in between this time, is stay spacey, disconnected, etc. I've suddenly started having panic attacks too. I go for an EEG on May 4th, will update back when I get the results.

Wow, you sound like me. I recently went off of Cymbalta, and I'm wondering if that could be my problem. It's driving me crazy. I don't know why this is happening.

Hi have the same thing. Your description is the closest I've read to it. I've had it for 4 or 5 months. It's wrecking my life! I'm used to being healthy and happy. No longer. I'm trying ENT who originally said he could fix me...now I'm going for CAT scan in May...

I now think it is the Candida problem.....so I started a Candida diet (lots of supplements, probiotics...greens+ almonds etc....basically let go of sugar and white carbs...but..I can't let go of beer or coffee yet...anyhow I just started a few days ago and my symptoms are worse....but they say that is the die-off of the yeast.....and it can last weeks....worth a shot! I also have HSV2 and anxiety...but no meds as well.

Similar to you...am 47 year old male...now trying this anti candida diet (a nightmare in itself). I've been on it 3 days...tons of supplements no sugar no high carbs... no wine...but have not been able to let go of beer...or coffee. Anyhow I feel worse...but they say that is the die-off...we'll see. I have CAT scan booked early may. My ENT thought he could fix me but has not been able to yet....which is why I got directed to candida...

non smoker
do have stress
exercise frequently (has no effect on my feeling)

It's called depersonalization disorder. It is caused by anxiety. I have this, as well as all of your symptoms. It comes and goes, but ive noticed that not thinking about it makes it slowly go away. Try to not think about it. Also, go to a psychologist for anxiety. It is all in your head.

Honeslty, I have read a lot of these posts, and I can't believe that so many people have not considered this anxiety related. Yes, I was confussed and affraid when my symptoms first started. My first symptoms were full blow panic attacks, so I went to a psycologist. I lost my dad when I was 14, this is the base for my anxiety, death and dying, so naturally feeling "strange" made me freak out. But I always kept myself grounded, as should you guys. Understand that it is just a feeling. Ask yourself, "can I function OK?' chances are "yes" So you know its just distorted thinking and worrying about it. I suggest everyone to go to a psycologist, you dont necessarily need to go on medications, just understand what is going on in your head. Take care.

i have been having these exact same symptoms for several months now. i haven't really looked too far into it because my parents just dismissed it and when i got blood work done it came back with nothing. If you've got any answers as to what it might be please let me know!

I have these same exact symptoms. I am 16 and have been having them for several months now. I haven't really looked into it because my parents have been dismissing it and the blood work i got done came back with no results. i've considered several possibilities but with overlapping symptoms its hard to tell. if you any info as to what this might be, please let me know!

I have all of these symptoms too :/ The ONLY thing that has helped me is going to a chiropractor and getting adjusted and getting electro acupuncture. I can't afford that though :( My neck was out of alignment and it has caused me a lot of problems. I went from daily migraines to maybe once a week with the chiropractor. I think I have some other issues too, not just spine issues.

Hi,

I would definitely go to a psychologist, I have a family history of mild anxiety, and had similar symptoms. I've been put on Lexapro and it has helped massively!

This is a fantastic thread. I am amazed I found it and that I am not alone. I am 26 year old womab and have been feeling the feeling of brain fog/ pressure on the scull and brain (without real pain just pressure)/ confusion/loss of words/irritability and as a result I've have many breakdowns at work when I get frustrated with myself for not being able to function properly. It's been about a year since it started. They get so bad that i have literally cried at my computer desk at work over the frustration and it's no good. It comes in waves and is there but not as bad in the morning, gets really bad around lunch and worsen throughout the afternoon. Once I head home for the day it subsides a little, more so when I am relaxed. I am going to th dr's next week and I'm hoping it's something simple like low b12. I feel for everyone here. Totally know where u guys are coming from and I hope we can beat this. :)
