Lisfranc surgery bone fusion surgery was done on my 71 year old husband's foot 9 months ago with fantastic results. He can now bowl, golf, hike, and dance without pain.  I know there have been many reports of botched surgeries, so I want to let people with a similar problem know about Dr. John Shank at the Colorado Center of Orthopaedic Excellence in Colorado Springs, CO. 

The surgery for painful arthritis was done by inserting 7 four inch pins into his foot...they look like pick-up sticks in the Xrays.  The recovery meant not using the foot for anything for several months;it was long & difficult, but worth it.  A knee scooter was essential.
