Sometimes when i am in school reading abook or anything else, my vision will become unfocused and then a few seconds later go back to normal. I went to the doctor and all he said that i have a slight astigatism and that could be causing the problem. After i few weeks, i still have this unfocusing problem!! It is not unusual for this to happen 5-10 times a day. Should i go see my doctor again? Thanks in advance for any help!

It also happens to me when I try to focus or when I am straining for a long time to read, study or work at my computer. I haven’t seen a doctor yet since I am already wearing glasses and sometimes I contribute this to tiredness, too much stress and too many hours in front of the computer but I doubt you are as much stressed or straining.
Did your doctor suggest anything about that mild astigmatism? As far as I know, all degrees of astigmatisms can be corrected either by wearing glassed or lenses. But if your astigmatism is mild and not causing nearsightedness, or farsightedness, then you may just have to observe it.
However, if your “unfocusing” problem is causing you too many troubles and is way too annoying, I reckon you should see a doc again and ask if there was anything to be done to correct it or avoid it.
