Need some confirmation here. A friend of mine says he's having problems getting his tool to stay hard, that it feels like it's a little "deadened" and so the strokes he's used on it don't have the same effect. I told him that this is probably because he masturbates so much (and, from what he says, without usually using lube), and that that can damage the tool in the way he describes. He says that's crazy. Anyone back me up on this, and is there anything he can do to help restore his tool?

Well, your friend owes you a drink, or at least a sincere "thank you," because you are right. Frequent dry masturbation causes keratinization of the outer layers of skin - basically, it forms a callus like on the hands or bottoms of the feet. This can cause a deadening of sensation. He can bring back the feeling by using a penis health creme with vitamin C (helps prevent keratinzation) and Shea butter (helps soften the skin and restore sensitivity).
