I am training for a marathon and with less than 4 weeks left I have strained my lower abdomen. Been to a doctor and it isn't a hernia and was told, "you just have to let it heal". I have taken a week off and yet it still hurts when trying to run. Anyone have experience with something like this and how long will it take to heal? It is just above my pubic bone and between my hips. Any help out there? :(
