Please help me! I am desperate! I have discovered a huge lump on my mandible! Only a few ago it was small, but now it is getting bigger and bigger. It's painful, makes it hard for me to eat anything and did I mention it hurts like hell? I went to the ER when I first discovered the lump but they sent me home again. I think I will go to the ER again now. What do you think it is?

I must be an abscess of some kind, from what you are telling us. I am sorry they turned you away at the ER and you should not hesitate to go again. If you keep delaying getting medical treatment some of your teeth might fall out, and you will have long and lasting consequences. Please go to the ER right away, or to the dentist, and do let us know how it went please! Good luck!
