The line is absolutely normal, its there on all of us. Well not women but guys. And it is caused at birth while you are still developing. Its just like a crease in the skin where your legs were kept pressed together in the womb. And the lump is probably a small gland that has been introduced to too mush action(squeezing, pressure, that kind of stuff) Making it swell up.
