Please help me! My significant other found a little lump on my perineum last night in the bedroom. I am now worried that it could be a sexually transmitted disease, though we have been together for six months now and I am pretty sure I didn't have an STD before. Can anyone give me their views on what this might be?

That can be anything. Your description sounds pretty vague as it is. My first thought is genital warts, which are probably the most common sexually transmittable disease around, but it could also be genital herpes or any number of other things, including non sexually transmittable diseases. The only way to know for sure is to go and see a doctor.
