Hey I am a Body Builder and was wondering is Masterbation might hurt my growth and/or gains in weightlifting?

I have heard that when you are weightlifting, there is less desire for masturbation, is that true? My neighbour is a weight lifter and he told me that his penis shrinks very often, I don’t believe this is completely true as I can find no logical connections with this statement of his. On the other hand, there are some people saying if you are working out, your body is psychically stronger and so is the penis, it becomes stronger and healthier as the strong body increases circulation.
I would also say that body builders have strong erections and being more fit, they could perform more sex comparing to the one that is not working out.
Also, masturbating, as long as it is not excessive and making your body weak afterwards, can’t influence your progress in weight lifting. A little bit of everything is the best.
