Hello, I guess I need some help. I am diabetic for quite some time and I take insulin for that. Diabetes is a systemic illness and lead to overall destruction of all organs. And now I have to deal wit hypertension too. I have heard that acebutolol might be very helpful for that. Can these two medicaments interact with each other?

Unfortunately, I think there is a possibility of some small interaction between those two meds. That said, I guess you will need to talk to your doctor and see what he suggests. Just don’t use those both meds at the same time, the reverse effect might really be devastating. And you really cannot leave insulin, so I guess you will have to find some replacement for acebutolol.
