Wow you are completely wrong on every level. Suboxon can give you even worse of not the same wds than methadone believe ive done both for long periods. And to say a clinic is no better than using on the street... Atleast at a clinic a hardcore dope addict can take his dose in the morning not worry about having to find drugs in order to avoid wds and can start rebuilding his or her life. Yes its not ideal but what is in this problem. I went from homeless heroin addict to going to school owning a house and becoming an electrician with two trucks thanks to a clinic. I would have never done that just shooting dope. Think about what I said before you judge clinics.

Hi everyone reading the threads and everyone's stories made me wanna share my experience. I started 3 years ago at the clinic in a 95mg dose. For the last 2 years ago I started going down 5 mg every 3-4 weeks til I got to 20mg. Then went down 2 mg every 3-4 weeks till I got to 2mg. I also started going every others day, then every 2 days, then every 3 days once I got around 8-10 mg. I decided 4 days ago would be my last day. I feel fine. So far. I think what really helped was slowly going down and skipping days to break up the daily routine. I started doing yoga 5 days a week 4 months ago and eating lots fruit and just better food in general. Just focusing on myself and being better has kept my mind from really even thinking about that place. I don't miss going to the clinic. I feel thankful and confident that this is over for me. It's such a mental mind f**k. Freeing your mind from the liquid handcuffs is such liberating feeling. If you just stay focused and patient and do it right it is so possible. Believe in yourself..!!

Exactly , I think it's the stigma ,people look down on drug addicts and think methadone is still using but that's not the cause , being dependant on a drug isn't the same as being addicted and f**k anyone who judges someone for getting help take your time and make sure you get your life in order and stay positive ,drink lots of water and exercise everyday no matter what force yourself
