i am addicted to methodone. i have been clean of heroine the last 6 months and was originally takeing 30mls daily of methodone to help me beat this addiction. after 3 months i started dropping my methodone by 5mls, i managed to get down to 5mls daily with no professional help. i then discovered i was pregnant which was a shock. i am very opiate aware and know that withdrawing can cause miscarriage as i was withdrawing i decided to go back to 10mls daily. i now feel fine but will my baby be ok on this dose and will it be born withdrawing? i know people on higher doses ther babies can be fine and sometimes not but i cant find anything about this low dose pls help! i cant tell my doc as they dont even know i was an addict for 7 yrs (heroine) i got myself of that useing methodone and was determined to get myself of methodone but i found out i was pregnant!
