I am worried and won't be able to see my gynaecologist for another 2 months. Has anyone experienced something similar? I'm 21 years old and otherwise healthy.


I have missed my period twice so far. I do get the usual pms but only about 1 drop of blood on the first day and then nothing at all after that. I used to be very regular (already from the age of 11) and always had heavy painful periods. I am also very tired and moody, sometimes depressed lately. Also my vagina is extremely itchy and dry. I have never had issues with being dry before.


I went to see my GP who got me to get some blood tests done. Apparently my oestrogen has suddenly dropped. But i'm not sure if that matters because i tested about 1 day after my period should have stopped, which is the time when your oestrogen levels go down anyway, isn't it?

TSH and LH are both low as well.


My GP is referring me to a gynaecologist which I won't be able to see for another 2 months due to her being booked out.


I'm really worried and have no idea what could be wrong with me and my GP looked pretty clueless as well. 2 months ago when I first missed my period I had pregnancy symptoms and my GP said I probably went through an early misscarriage, which happens sometimes. But now I'm not very sure.


Has anyone ever experienced anything somewhat similar?
