I'm 19, over the last 6 weeks, I have been having what I would describe as testicular anxiety. It started when I was sitting on the floor with my legs crossed when I felt some mild discomfort in my left testicle and looked to find it extremely high up next to my pen is. I just simply pushed it back down painlessly however, this resulted in my hyper focusing and being hypersensitive to everything that was going on and heavily breathing to prevent it again (I must add I have always been worried and anxious about my testicles since I was young which doesn't help the matter), it also led to me walking weird, laying in weird positions, not wanting to leave the house unless I had work. This anxiety and hypersensitivy started to cause my mild pain which would at times lead to severe pain (all of this I believe to be caused by anxiety). It feels as if my testicles are constantly moving and squirming, I have mild discomfort and sometimes feel heavy when I get anxious about them. However when it's off my mind or at work, it doesn't bother me. I am now 6 weeks from when this happened and my anxiety has massively improved due to realising it is anxiety causing and so I've been eating healthy and keeping a positive attitude and not letting it affect me too much. I do still get the odd niggle and bouts of anxiety but I'm getting there. Can anyone reassure me not to be worried about my testicles going up and getting stuck? Any advice would be much appreciated.
