Hello, folks. My friend had some problems with vertigo or dizziness. At first, doctors didn’t know what was wrong with her, but later discovered multiple sclerosis. Is vertigo a common sign of this terrible disease? I would appreciate if someone knew to answer me this. Your replies will be more than welcomed.

Hi, there. Vertigo is a dizzy sensation. It is usually accompanied by nausea and vomiting. It is related to partial or complete loss of balance. It can be caused by many reasons and multiple sclerosis is just one of them. Vertigo in multiple sclerosis is present for few weeks. It rarely persists for a longer period of time. Nevertheless, it leaves behind chronic dizziness sensation. It also interferes with traveling. I hope this helps. Bye!
