I feel like my bladder is not emptying all the way. I tried to concentrate when I pee, but I still can’t empty it whole. I was wondering can I retrain my bladder and take control again.

You can learn how to retrain your bladder and retraining consists of urinating on a schedule and gradually increasing the amount of times between bathroom trips. You can do it by using a clock and some simple behavioral therapy techniques. When you employ a program of scheduled toileting with gradually increasing time intervals, you are retraining your bladder, so the goal is for you to control your bladder rather than for your bladder to control you. But is this going to help you with empting bladder all the way is something that you should consult professionals.

I must agree with wingfield that you should consult your doctor about this matter. He or she will direct you to the urologist who will probably examine you to discover if there are any other problems or causes of your problem with emptying the bladder all the way. He will probably have some better tips than anyone else can offer you so just follow his directions and you should be fine.

And if he prescribes some behavioral therapy you will get back to normal and in control of your bladder in no time. But remember that this is not such a big problem until you don’t have any other uncomfortable symptoms. Good luck with this matter and I hope you will resolve your problem soon.
