I've had several years (at least 3) of abnormal paps and biopsy results, which has finally culminated in my need to get a CKC. I'm 28, have no children, but my husband and I desperately want at least 2 kids before time runs out. Now that I'm facing this dilemma, I'm scared that I either won't be able to have my own kids or it will be incredibly difficult (not to mention the fact that I'm terrified of the recovery process for this procedure as well).
Can anyone offer any tips, insights, real life experiences, ANYTHING that might help prepare me for what's to come? :(

Hello, I'm sorry that you're going through this and wish you happiness! If you would like more children, then have you considered adoption? I'm sorry for being blunt but if you're afraid of your medical condition, then maybe adoption is a better option for you. I hope all goes well!
