I have been working at a call centre for almost 3 years now and noticed just yesterday that my pinky and ring finger are numb.. have been numb for a full 24 hours now, lastnight it was tingly up my arm.. i cant say it hurts because theres no pain and I've been googling to find more info and all i can really agree to is cubital tunnel syndrome.. but now i am tripping myself out and feel my legs and my feet go tingly.. esp when i am laying at bed @ night... I know at work i am constintly on the phone - and I rest on my left elbow all day long esp for the last 2 weeks because my head set has been giving me a headache... i am only 22, I am just scared its starting so early that it could be bad for my future and I dont know what to do i dont want my hands to fold in and I dont want to loose feeling of my body :( .... I love my job but i dont want to be putting my health and body in danger.. just typing this now i realize my foot is tingly.. but i am sitting all day (i dont have the best posture) and I am typing and on the phone 8 hours 5 days a week, i never really move from my desk only for 30 min lunch... this just sucks i dont want to be so young with these issues already i feel like a old woman!!

I have the exact same thing as you. I've tried to keep my hands at my sides while I sleep but it's just as bad. The only releif is putting my arms dangling over the bed. I am a stomache sleeper. Also while driving it's horrible. At night it feels like it's from a nerve underneath the length of my arm. But driving it's from the lower arm.

I am a welder and have high severe high blood pressure which is somewhat being controlled by clonidine and lisinopril that I was put on by a doctor but within the last two months I have been waking up to my hands and sometimes my arm being numb everynight. Do you think it could be side effects from meds or work or what could be causing this???

OH MY GOSH!!! this is exactly the same as mine. Both hands are swelling now, my right one is much wrose then the left. Sometimes it pinches and almost nocks me to the ground. Like when you first hit your funny bone, that first split second hurts like crazy. I am in fear of losing the feeling in my hands and losing my job. PLEASE HELP :(

I have this happen too sometimes. When it used to happen a lot I realized it was because I slept on my arm wrong. When I got a tempurpedic mattress everything changed and I was fine. Then I gave my bed away and it came back. I'm getting my bed back now.
I think this is as simple as sleeping on your arm on a hard surface in my case, so maybe that's all it is for you too.

i have the same thing in my right arm, the doctor asked if i was over exerting my arm and yes i was using my right arm more than i should have, i cut fence wire all day with little wire cutters, to make cages for Mink, i make about 50 cuts on one cage and cut about 40 to 50 cages a day so if you use your arm more than its used to it will go numb, and mind you i just started work there a month ago and just started cutting those wires monday 3/24/14
