My period is late.. have not been tested yet...

The best thing to do is to get a pregnancy test. It will certainly show a correct reading by now. There are many reasons your period might be late. You might be so stressed out by the fact that you don't know what is happening and that can delay your period. If he is afraid of the outcome of the test then he is simply not helping things, forgetting something happened will not make a baby just disappear. You may have to get a pregnancy test without him and determine for yourself f you are pregnant or not. Honesty is always best in a relatonship, but ifhe really doesnt want you to take a test you may have to behind his back, to calm your nerves, then just let him ignore it. If you are concerned about pregnancy you may want to consider birth control

See I am ready to have a child but he wants to wait for about a year. He was married before and already has two kids so he wants everything to be right. I think he is afraid of the whole thing. See when he had has two the first one he was ready for, he was still in high school. The second was with the same women and he is not sure if it is really his because she cheated on him. They got divorced and now he pays 520 a month in child support. He has told me that when she had her kid she became very weird to him, I think he is afraid that things might go the same way with me and that is not true. So he wants to wait "till the time is right" but when exactly is that? I dont think he really knows that the time will never be "right". But about the stress, I am not really stressed at all. I am actually kind of excited. I would like to be pregnant. But I wish he was as happy as I am.

Hmm, ok, well you should really sit down and talk to him. What you just told me would be a perfect way to start. From what you've told me it is very understandable that he is scared. If you really want to conceive you should reassure him that a child will only give you a chance to grow closer, being able to raise a child of your own with the person you love can be one of the best experiences, besides, if you are pregnant now, the only way to stop it would be an abortion. You need to talk to him and make sure e is ready to father this child (assuming you are pregnant.) As i've said before, you should get a pregnancy test. This may be the best way to approach him. You can get the results and then talk to him about it, if you aren't pregnant you can tell him how you feel and what you want, if you are, then you'll have to assure him that this will make you stronger together.

I took a test and it came back negative but still no period. I am not stressed I am just confused.

It is really rare to be pregnant and the test come back negative but if you take it later in the day it will be harder for it to read due to the foods and drinks in the urine. Try taking one in the morning before you eat or drink anything if you havent already and see.
