It's possible that she picked up something from the water. Our beach water is not very safe these days. People do all kinds of things in the water at the beach. However, she could have picked up a bug some other way. If this is her first pregnancy, she would want to keep bugging the doctors about this. Don't give them a moment's rest. Sometimes, if patients are young and seem healthy, problems don't get as much attention. Don't let this happen to her. Get a second opinion, document everything and go to ER if you have to. I hope the fever isn't a lot higher than it should be for her in her condition. If so, then really scream loud for attention from a doctor. Let us know how she is doing.
