I have had my IUD for about 10 months. It was great at first. Like everyone some spotting and clear odourless discharge and cramping but nothing terrible. Well not to mention it hurt like a bit$H getting it in. I dont have children and my husband and i dont know if we do so thought it would be a good idea. My doctor suggested it for my endometriosis. Needless to say I want to die. I have gained 20 lbs back of the 40 i lost over the last 2 and half years. I look like a zit covered teenager... I have had the most beautiful skin my whole life till the IUD... I dont know whether to give it more time, because it is still new or get rid of it... Its horrible, i have zits (well more like boils or welts to be honest) everywhere, My back my arms, my chest, and my gross gross face. I would suggest really thinking about getting it for a long while before jumping in like i did. AND they cost an arm and leg.... Im really upset with my body image from this thing!!!!!

my doctor suggested one for me because im allergic to all birth control. after 6 months your supposed to get a check up. i ve never heard of a reaction like that tho. the cramping anddischarge would be a utertan infection. antibiotics that they give you along with benedryl will fix the matter. i hope that helps im allergic to just about everything
