I against doctors advise took norethisterone for 3 weeks straight because i have very painful periods and i was away working.
I came off 4 days ago and started getting blood spotting last night and then abit heavier this morning but still very light and not for long and now absolutely nothing.
All the other times i have taken it i have came on 2-3 days later and i have had my normal very heavy period...
Any answers?

Hi there, do you know why your doctor told you not to take it? I am not sure what to tell you about your situation if you were advised not to take something specifically. Were there things that you should have taken instead? Let me know, okay?

Simply, you've been messing around with your hormones. It might take some time for everything to get back to normal. It is advisable not to take these tablets for more than 3 cycles but that would be considered a lot! I would say it's best to use them in order to avoid one cycle really and no more but it's been done before by many and I wouldn't recommend that you do it again or regularly. Everything should go back to normal soon and if you are worried in time, see your docotr face to face.
