Not a urinary infection, but what?

I am 55 and have for the past three weeks felt as though after I have emptied my bladder, I want to go again. I have, with these symptoms a dull ache in , but its more like, a drawing sensation down below. I have not had a normal period for some time. I had my urine checked, but no infection was found.

As these symptoms come and go I would like to know if they are part of the menapause?

Can anyone else say if they have funny feelings and sensations with the cahnge of life?
