One Testicles is bigger than the other - should i be worried ?

Just been to the Doc today, given all clear. I was starting to get a bit worried about one testicle appearing to be smaller than the other (right) bigger than the (left). I didn't have any pain, discomfort, discharge... e.t.c Just worried about the size but seems to be normal. I'm 17. If you're worried about it, just go see your GP and get it checked for peace of mind. My GF says she can't see any difference, even though I feel like it is, but it's fine and normal. Everyone who is worried, get it checked out.

Guys calm down. Seriously, I've read about testicular cancer for a while now and it surprisingly isn't as common as you think. Most of the things happening to your testicles can be explained. Having one larger/lower tha. the other is normal. Groom what I've read testicular cancer generally isn't painful at first. You can check your testicles each month. Cup them in your hands and feel for any painless lumps. Feel around both testicles and if you don't find anything you should be good. There are two little balls in the tubes to the testicles (can't remember what they're called) but if you do feel those they'll hurt. They are normal adip supposed to hurt. Start examining yourself monthly, if anything new appears that concerns you, just talk to your GP. Better to be safe than sorry.

Hi, I was interested in this post as I am the mother of a small boy who has one larger testicle. I posted on here before but can't remember my login! Anyway I did say that I'd repost once tests had been done to add to other info on here that may be relavent.

Apparently my son has 'patent processus vaginalis'. There is a connection between the scrotum and abdomen which naturally closes off as a toddler but sometimes doesn't. Fluid can then travel from the abdomen to the scrotum making it enlarged. It is not painful and has no other signs. A simple test as to whether this is the case is putting a torch light (one of those small maglites) up against the testicle and if it appears red then its full of fluid which it apparently shouldn't be.

My son has to go back for a small operation where they will close the connection and drain the testicle. If left alone it can get quite large. Theres lots of proper info on this condition if you're interested on google. 

Hope this helps if only to eliminate cause.

My 17 year old son noticed one testicle bigger than the other, said he noticed it when he was 10 or 12 years old.  He recently had utz showing one is bigger then the other no fluid no cyst but show larger is not smooth on utz but rough.  what does this mean. a concerned mother.

No, having one testicle hanging lower than the other is NOT a disease or a medical condition. It is natural and it is present in about 95% all men.Why does one testis hang lower than the other?

The reason is due to the venous blood drainage. In the left side, the testicular vein drains into the left renal vein. The left renal vein is smaller than the inferior vena cava to which the right spermatic vein drains into. This difference in the speed of venous blood drainage produces the difference in height of the two testicles.If you have two testicles hanging exactly at the same level, they would rub and bang against each other when you walk, run or do any physical activity. This will cause a lot of pain and trauma. Nature prevents this issue by hanging one testicle lower than the other.

I have the same problem but one testicle looks grey and the other is red but it s nit a big deference in color
I remember when i was a kid i saw like a pole in the street and i jumped and hit one testicle very very hard I lied down on the street and my testicle was blue for 3 days i do not know if it has a relation ,,,i do not remember very well but i think the red testicle was hit ,,and the other which was not hit is grey a little bit
