My doctor diagnosed this in me & I am 53 years old. He said most men have slightly different sized testicles just as most women have slightly different sized breasts & this is normal. However, one of mine was substantially different in size & my doctor ordered a sonogram. Excess fluid was detected in the larger one so the doctor ordered blood tests to rule out cancer & it was ruled out. Six weeks later the doctor had me redo the sonogram & most of the fluid was not excessive as before & all tests showed it was normal. It does not affect you having children, sperm count, etc., but should be checked out to be on the safe side, for both your physical & mental well being.

Hi i am 15 years old and my right testicle is bigger than my left one, I can't determine if it is bigger in a significant amount. I was kinda feeling around and felt some cords or something in the back of my left testicle, and found cords in on the top of my right one, my left testicle hangs lower than my right one. I do get some pains often and find that sometime my right testicle will kinda slip up into my body and i kinda push it back out in wich my right testicle is more sensitive.I have been scared about this for a while and i feel sick every time i think about it. Should i go to a doctor do you think?

Hello.

My left testicle is significantly larger than my right. I had an inguinal hernia about three years ago (I'm 21 now) and it was quite serious, however, as far as I can remember my left testicle has been quite a bit larger than my right, however, it is at least five times larger than my left. I've never had any pains, problems urinating or otherwise, however, due to the duration of my hernia (reluctant to go to the doctors) it had protruded into where my testicle was (the left side of my body) Again, I've never had any problems, it doesn't hurt when I laugh or cough, I only get tender pains coming from my hernia area which I was told was normal, nothing from my testicle. There appears to be no swelling, it's not red or tender, it's as tender as a testicle would normally be. I'm very reluctant to go to the doctors, but I'm wondering if it's normal for one testicle to be quite a bit larger, I know several men are born with one larger testicle, but what would the signs be for testicular cancer or any other such problem?

dont worry yourself too much mate, one of your nads is supposed to be lower down than the other, and the enlarged teste is likely to be a hydrocele, a liquid formed around a teste. nothing to worry about, unless its causing you pain.

Nearly all men have one testicle that hangs lower than the other one. Scientists think this may be so that they do not hit against each other. It can be either the left or the right that hangs lower, but in 85% of men, it is the left one. The left testicle usually descends first and this may affect which one hangs lower.

Hi, I am 17, and I'm having the same problem only that my testicles are formed differently. First of all, my right ball is a little smaller than the left and they both are shaped like a peanut where it's not an oval but the problem is I haven't experienced any sharp pain on either both my testicles. No problem with erection or ejaculation or peeing. I'm just very worried that something bad will happen in the future.
