Hi. I`m 35 yo F. I have a lyme disease and I`ve been suffering from its` symptoms for 2 years. Nobody knew what was wrong with me. But new problem came out and I have some sort of visual disturbances. When I look at the different objects they seem to oscillate. My doc has told me that I have oscillopsia, but I know that lyme can imitate many diseases. Anybody with some more info?

Hi. Lyme disease is a great imitator but not sure that it can give you visual disturbances. Oscillopsia, on the other hand, will make you see the object in the visual field oscillating. That oscillation may range from a blurring to rapid jumping of the observed objects. You may also feel dizzy. This condition can be caused by the loss of vestibulo-ocular reflex, involuntary eye movements.
