I need some help on how to get pregnant with irregular periods. last june i went to the doctor and got prescribed bcp to regulate my periods she said that everything was fine with me just (i am very small and petite i way ariund 90lbs.) the reason my periods werent still regulating is bc i am so light. i took my bcp up untill july i lost it. by the time i found it it ws around late july early august. just to be safe i took a pregnnay test and it was positive. it showed up postitve 3-4 times with 3 negitives. i went back to my doctor she took serum and it concluded i was not pregnant. if i get back on birth control i need to know when i ovulate? and how high are the chances i can get pregnant if i dont take my active pills? if some one can help me i would be very thankful i want to have a baby i am ready but my periods are just standing in my way! some please help

You do not ovulate on BCP.
IF you are not ovulating, then you need to try and take medications that help you to ovulate.

okay. my obgyn told me that if i take bcp for a few months my periods will regulate. will i start ovulating regularly after that? and when you bleed on bcp is that just hormones makeing you bleed if you dont actually ovulate
