hi, I have a varicocelectomy about one month ago , but my testicle is still painful when it is loosen and not painful when it comes close to the body during cold, also after the surgery my left tescticle has become 1time bigger than the right... usually how long after surgery will the pain go away as well as swelling?

Hey, I had my varicocele surgery over 2 years ago. I'm not going to lie. The recovery, meaning the 2-3 weeks after were rough, but it was well worth it. The veins once there are completely gone. It does take a couple months for them to go away, but they did for me. The only thing left is a hard little bump (barely noticable). I don't know if this is something I should worry about or simply scar tissue, but that is the only remaining thing. Good luck to you. Remember, the recovery is a little tough but well worth it in the end!

Did you see an increase of sperm and testosterone? so you recon the micro surgery is worth it over all? so u cannot feel any of the veins that was before the surgery? any pain now?
