I had a bladder sling operation 2 years ago and ever since that day I have nausea, lower back pain and fullness in my stomach. I have been back and forth to the doctor and he told me the sling looks fine and that it can not be removed. I had an infection for more then 6 months after the surgery and I think I am allergic to the material which is making me feel like I have a low grade fever and chills all the time. No one seems to be helping me with my problem. I would appreciate your help if possible and what should I do next.

The sling can be removed call major hospitals, like Emory in Atlanta, Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Just ask whoever answers if any Dr. can take out the sling. Someone in Urology and Urogynecology. They will help you, Thank God they helped me. These slings should be banned for the damage they are causing.
