I usually masturbate 4-8 times per week and ever since last weekend ive been having some problems.

The closer i get to a climax I feel a pounding pain in back of my head toward the left, kind of going up from my neck. I believe it is blood related since it pounds in time with my heart beat but I just dont understand why its happening.

I have tried masturbating a few times since this started happening but it gets worst. Earlier today when I tried, it started to hurt so bad that I screamed and fell off my bed, and ended up with a migrane for a good portion of the day.

I must confess, I had a very similar problem about a year or so ago develop while I was having sex with my wife.

The back of my head, particularly on one side, would throb in time with my heart beat at the point of orgasm, and it would feel like the back of my head wanted to explode.

It was enough to put me off my game, completely. After three weeks of this c**p, I went to see a doctor, and he put me on blood pressure medicine. (Now, there were other factors, including age, and slowly climbing pressure....)

But it would appear that the pain was a function of spiking blood pressure during orgasm AND elevated pressure AND some form of iritation or inflamed sinus or lining in my scalp.

It wasn't fun, but it did go away over time.

Try backing off from caffine. Don't engage in sex or masturbation for a while, and try relaxing. Also, try cutting down/off sodium and salt intake.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance on this.
Perhaps a medical person can weigh in and shed some more light.
