Had sex a day before my period came. It's been two weeks. I have never been pregnant before. I usually get really bad PMS but never cramps like this. We thought it was just my nerves because I just lost my job but I'll wake up in the morning and feel the pain instantly. My bowel movements are normal. I have an appointment with OBGYN this week and I'm just anxious to know if anyone thinks this could be a pregnancy sign this early and if it is impossible since I did have a 4 day heavy period.

I know that this isn't very reassuring but you can still get pregnant having a period, so having a period does not mean that you are in the clear. I know that cramps can also be brought on by anxiety so it's fair not to rule that out as well. It is possible that it is pregnancy, but you are seeing your OB/GYN this week so hopefully s/he will be able to shed light on this for you. I hope everything works out well for you! It is pretty unlikely to get pregnant 1 day before your period. Im not saying that it is IMPOSSIBLE but it is highly unlikely since your highest chances are at 2 weeks from the day you start your period. I hope that you find out what is causing you pain :-)
oh and because you had your period, a heavy one at that, thats usually a good indicator. You are probably not pregnant :-)

I'm glad that you are going to see your doctor. Good move! It doesn't sound like pregnancy, but possible. You could be clotting too. That will cause great discomfort. You can always try a home test before you see the doctor, but it may be too early for that. You didn't mention if your were on birth control. That will cause irregularities too, especially if you don't stick to the prescribed schedule. Good luck to you. I think you'll be fine. Keep the stress down in the mean time. Let us know...
