I had a partial pancreatectomy (1/3 to 1/4 removed) and spleenectomy in June to remove a cyst that was found incidentally after knee surgery and a 33 pound weight loss.  My doctor thought there was something else going on.  I think it was loss of appetite from the pain pills that made me lose weight, but I am grateful for the CT scan that found the pre-malignant cyst.  Has anyone had this surgery and how did you feel afterwards?

I am 69 and very active.  I am back to playing tennis 4-5  times a week and bowling twice a week.  I feel pretty good and am scheduled for a follow-up MRI in February to make sure that there is no other reason for concern
