Hello! I have four months old baby and I am breastfeeding. I feel tired and exhausted very often, but my mother says it is normal and expected when you have a little baby who is not sleeping at night. Sometimes I have bad headache and I feel terrible. I don't know if I may use paracetamol while breastfeeding?

Hi! It is very important to know which medicines are safe to take while breastfeeding since everything you take can pass to your breastmilk and cause problems to your baby. Paracetamol and ibuprofen are the safest medicines to be taken while breastfeeding. So, you can take paracetamol with no fear at all, since paracetamol is prescribed for small babies as well. Also, don't forget to talk to your doctor if headaches are frequent and intensive.
