About two months back while cleaning myself, I found a pea like boil just inside of my anus. When pressed it hurt a bit. It was a bit larger and now I noticed, after about two months, it has gone a bit smaller. But it feels a bit hard now. Sometimes after being on my work desk for a long time, I feel some throbbing pain.
I developed anal fissure in my mid life and treated myself with homeopathy. I used to get discharges and had to change my underwear a number of times. With treatment the discharge and itching stopped. I am 60 years old.
Now, I find the pea like growth. It becomes hard when I exert myself or put moderate pressure to relieve myself in the morning. I am a bit scared. Can anyone kindly help?

Hello, guest. Have you had any bleeding with this pea-size growth especially with defecation? I would suspect it to be a hemorrhoid. A hemorrhoid is a vein around the anus that protrudes from extra exertion from straining when on the toilet. Sometimes, the tissue will begin to bleed when pressure from pushing out stool occurs. If you are really concerned, you should see your doctor about it. He will be able to see if it is indeed a hemorrhoid or something else. Good luck!
