I am 26 years old and a year ago my menstrual periods became crazy. I bleed for 6 months and then it stopped and beame normal for 4 months and now I am bleeding again and its been going on now for about 4 months this time. It stops on occasion for about 2 days and then back again for months, I feel so afraid. My husband and I want to have a baby and I just don't want to hear them tell me that I can't. . :'(

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Ask your doctor about it. Get tested. It isn't a horrible thing, there are treatments for it. If it turns out you have it, ask about metformin. It is a drug that is helping me. If you want to know more, e-mail me
