hi am 31yrs married for 7 yrs, last period was on 12 july, its 18th aug today and still no periods, we use condoms, but since the 30th july until the 13th aug everday hubby penetrated without condom but withdrew much much before he could come and thereaftercontinued with sex with condom on. can i be pregnant??? i have very irreregular periods almost 32 to 38 days apart, only 2 previous periods were regular i.e. 28-30 days apart. am worried. please help.

The withdrawl method can work but always leaves a possibility to become pregnant. It may be wise to take a HPT to make sure. However, you stated that your periods are irregular so that may be at play her as well.

thanks for your reply and support, did a htp today morning since its the 8th days after my period due on 12th aug and it came negative, but am still not sure, i have body ache and feel lithargic , also just went to the lab this morning for urine test will get the reports by noon time. Hope it come negative, sometimes the htp test is too early to be correct, hence i was just wondering if its correct.

The test should be picking up a result by now. Was it a urine test in the lab or blood?

As a previous poster said, it should pick up a result by now. However, urine may be less accurate than a blood test which would definetly pick up now.

i had taken a home test (urine)first thing in the morning and it came negative, later the same day i did the urine test at the lab and it came negative too, but still no signs of my periods. does any one know how to check the position of the cervix to find out if i oculd be pregnant. how high or low it should be just before the periods are due.

Condom raptured on 17th night/18th early morning. Was using Ovral-L but have taken a break since my last period which was on the 8th Feb. I have always had irregular period when not on pills which is aroun 38 days or more. Do you think I could get be pregnant. I am not trying to Conceive.
