Husband had parathyroid surgery 3-1/2 wks. ago for removal of calcium pods.  He now has a severe cough whenever he drinks anything, and is unable to eat solid foods of any kind.  He has lost approx 22 lbs. in the last few weeks.  Our regualr GP has put him on Boost/Ensure so he keeps his proteins regular.  Calcium is okay now, but eating is not part of his day.  Dr. says he may need a 'feeding tube' if this keeps up.  Personally, I think the Dr. who operated on him left something in his throat!   He watches TV cooking shows, so his appetite is still there.  Anyone else had this problem?  Thanks 8-|
