My son had his bowel removed due to u/c he now has flare up's of pouchitus he has constant loose bowels that can be very acid like on his skin he passes blood and mucus sometimes clots he has been on long courses of anti biotics for his bowel codeine for the pain asacol which is meant to prevent these flare up does anyone have new treatments for this illness.
