I thought for sure i would get pregnant, but my period cam a couple days ago. Does this mean that we can't have kids? Or does he need to "cum" inside me after my period when i'm in ovulation process?

no it probably just means you are not pregnant. getting pregnant isnt the same for everyone. some can with a bit of pre cum and others it takes a lot more time and effort.

I would be extra careful with what your doing.
If you dont use protection the day then the next day you buy pills from a pharmacy making sure you dont get pregnant before something happens (this is called the morning after pill)
If you carry on doing this without protection you will become pregnant for sure.
