so me and "boyfriend" had sex unprotected. i don't know why but he didn't have a condom. he didn't go long. but he pre-cam. he doesn't know if he did it inside me but he pulled out and pre-cam on me after. but he thinks that i need to get the day after pill because he doesn't want me to get pregnant. but i don't know if i am pregnant. i have been irritated lately but thats just how i am. I'm only 20 and i need someone to really help me. my parents don't know. was on my period august 21th - Sep. 25th. we had sex the Sep 27th. do i have to wait another month until my period to see if it is late or not. today is the 1st OCt . it is too early to feel any symptoms isn't it? i am kinda scared because what if i do get pregnant? i don't want anyone to know. i don't think he pre-cam inside of me. if the guy hasn't pre-cam before sex then when he goes inside you does he automatically cum inside you like right when he gets inside? because that is the way i would get pregnant because he didn't pre-cum inside me.. i don't think. just please help me with advice. Wait until your next period is late. Or if by 3 weeks after you've had unprotected sex and you fell symptoms like constant mood swings, lower abdominal pains, lower back pains, headaches, nausea, etc, then take a pregnancy test. Don't get yourself worked up about it now because pregnancy sypmtoms won't show immediately. It takes time after conception and such. The first immediate symptoms will most probably occur 3 weeks after unprotected sex. Also it would be best to take a pregnancy test if your period is late, due to ovulation, conception and like things, a pregnancy test won't work effectively at the moment. I hope u get the results you're hoping for.

I had sex today, and it was unprotected. My period is due in 10 days. I was wondering if I will get pregnant?

I know you posted some time ago and I assume you have resolved the issue by now. Sadly, unprotected sex is like playing with a LOADED GUN. Remember, Nature WANTS you to procreate, and so, makes it easy, but not THAT easy. There are some factors against it...

You didn't state whether he pulled out and ejaculated immediately, or whether he ever ejaculated at all. In either case, the question involves his precum. It is true that precum CAN include some sperm, especially if you he was approaching a second ejaculation and he hadn't urinated between them to "clear the system" so to speak. By putting himself inside you, even if he thinks that nothing came out of his penis, or he's SURE it's only precum coming out of him, the chances are considerably greater that sperm could be present.

That said, there are all kinds of hazards and roadblocks for the sperm to reach their target (which is why he ejaculates so many of them each time he cums); the miniscule number that might possibly be in his precum would literally have an "uphill" battle to make you pregnant. The interior environment of your vagina is designed to actually make it hard for sperm to survive very long. This is kind of an elegant method of ensuring that only the strongest, healthiest, and most vigorous sperm get to the target. So, you need to worry depends on a number of factors -- how long and how deep was he inside you, how able was he to control his body's pre-orgasmic contractions, etc. etc., etc. ? The longer he was pumping inside you, the more his body would be ramping up toward orgasm and ejaculation, and sperm would be more likely to be leaking in. Deep thrusts would be pushing any precum closer to your cervix. It's an imprecise system, because Nature doesn't want you to stop it.

The "morning after" pill must be used within 72 hours of unprotected sex if there is even a chance that he may have cum inside you.
If in doubt, always try an over-the-counter pregnancy test.
Good Luck!
