hello.

Right to topic. Right after my period, the next day, my boyfriend and I did it. Is that safe? He used withdrawal method and without condom or any other contraceptive. Right now, I am still worried if I will get pregnant. You see, i heard of this implantation thing and got a sticky brownish (pinkish?) discharge the day after we did it. does that indicate that I'm pregnant or an implantation occured? Please help me. Or will I get pregnant??

Hi Guest,

With any sexual contact there is a risk that you can get pregnant but what you saw the day after, that discharge the day after is TO EARLY to be implantation bleeding.  Implantation bleeding normally occurs about a week before you expect your next period.

Odds strongly favor it being related to your having sex.

Depending upon how long your period is and when you ovulate determine how likely it is for you to get pregnant.  Normally you'll ovulate sometime between days 11 and 16 of your cycle.  Day 1 is when your period starts.  Sperm can survive about 5 days - so if you have 5-6 day period, it's very possible.

The pull-out method is very unreliable.

You can always take a home test, no earlier than two weeks after you had sex.

Good luck.
