I'm a big computer gamer, so I spend a lot of time in front of a screen. After about 30 minutes, my hands become freezing cold, and my temperature rises. Its not that it really bothers me, as it goes away after I'm off the computer. I know that natural response is "don't use computers." Is there something i can do to prevent it anyway? Thanks!

I am a pc gamer too -first person shooter. If you are like me, what you are experiencing is adrenaline rush (fight or flight syndrome) in response to the survival situation in the gaming. Your body responds to the perceived danger in the game as if it were for real by secreting adrenaline (epinephrine), which causes your peripheral blood vessels to constrict, hence the cold hands, your blood pressure to go up, and your blood to be diverted to your body core, hence the rise in temperature. You were wise to take a break when this happens to allow your body to get back to normal.
You can delay this from happening by getting yourself in better physical shape. I get up at 6am every morning and work out at the gym before I go to work. I found that my regular workout had sharpened my reflexes a great deal and helped improve my gaming. By the time I get home in the evening and finish supper, I am all ready to do battle again. By the way, I read in the newspaper ad that FAR CRY II is already out. If you ever played the first game, you know this is a must have.
